RSP transformed a disused printing works into the glamorous black Montblanc Opera House with a fully operational staging system to present four unique performances in the style of the great Musical Director Busby Berkeley. The show brought together over 100 musicians, singers, showgirls and speciality acts to recreate the traditions of 1940’s Broadway. Highlight numbers included a swinging version of the classic Diamonds Are a Girls Best Friend.
Seated in the elegant dining room hung with chandeliers and elegant floral arrangements, guests were treated to a five-course luxury meal prepared in specially built on-site kitchens.
Montblanc President Lutz Bethge highlighted the success of the event in his executive summary for that year’s Annual Report, stating “`A Tribute to Women' which generated valuable media interest at a local and international level.”
